BlockRot! Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
The short version
BlockRot! is an offline game. We don't have accounts, servers, or analytics. Your scores, badges, streaks, and settings live only on your device. The one exception is advertising.
What stays on your device (never transmitted)
- Game progress: scores, lifetime aura, badges, daily streaks, active runs
- Settings: sound, vibration, motion preferences
Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can also wipe progress any time via Settings → “reset my progress.”
Advertising (the only data collection)
BlockRot! is free because it shows ads through Google AdMob. When an ad is requested, Google may collect device information such as:
- Device identifiers (advertising ID)
- IP address and coarse location derived from it
- Device type, OS version, and ad-interaction data
This collection is performed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. See also how Google uses data from partner apps.
Your choices
- EU/UK/EEA: a consent dialog (Google UMP) is shown on first launch; you can decline personalized ads and will receive non-personalized ads instead.
- iOS: the App Tracking Transparency prompt lets you deny tracking; denying it means non-personalized ads.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in system settings.
Children
BlockRot! does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad content ratings are configured with Google AdMob's controls.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “last updated” date.
